Heat Clockwork

A more classic design with a Respektiv twist.  The case is 45mm in stainless steel with scratch resistant mineral glass.  The lugs and the crown guards have relief cut outs that give depth and interest.  The beveled bezel is stunning. 

The dial is solid copper, given the Respektiv Heat treatment.  The computer design is transferred to the copper using high heat and pressure.  The finishing of the dial uses a silvering technique that has been used for hundreds of years by clockmakers.  The dial is hand rubbed with a silvering compound and followed with Creme of Tarter.  There are only light signs hand made imperfections. 

The finishing process here has limited control so the coloring pattern will vary and there will never be a piece quite like it.

The movement is a 6498-1, salvaged from an old hunter style pocket watch.  The movement has been cleaned, oiled, and regulated at Respektiv.  All vintage movements come with a new mainspring to improve timing.  This movement is keeping excellent time.  The movement is a gold tone with an engraved pattern.  The hands from the old pocket watch are retained and have some age on them with just a few hints of decay.
